Timeline PhotosWhy doesn't Answers make a lower fat formula?
The optimal protein to fat ratio for dog, even those with pancreatitis, is 1:1.
This gives the body the ability to use fat for energy and protein to rebuild which is optimal in terms of efficiency and waste. A diet too high in carbohydrates uses a less efficient form of energy and leads to a whole host of issues like inflammation, weight gain, and diabetes. A diet that is low in carbohydrates and fat leads to the use of protein as energy. This is a problem because the byproduct of that process is nitrogen and it puts major stress on the kidneys. By feeding Answers products, your pet will receive the ideal 1:1 protein to fat ratio.

Posted @withregram • @raw_naturally_healthy_dogs Feeding a Raw diet can be as costly as you want it to be, but it can also be very reasonably priced, even using only Defra Licensed products, and more ethically sourced ones. There are even some very well priced ethical completes nowadays. The key, we feel, is to go for sources that care about, and want to help as many as possible to have healthier animals through raw feeding, as these will be balancing the importance of the business being able to sustain itself, with the products being as affordable as possible, and will give valuable support too so as many as possible can afford it.
In many cases owners who change their dogs and cats over with us are surprised it is as reasonably priced as it is. 🐾🐕🐾♥️🐾🐈🐾 naturalhealthypets.co.uk ... See MoreSee Less
